When the Liberty Corps offered membership to Silver Samurai on November 18, 1845, a furious Commando X threatened to quit the team, although Nightingale eventually persuaded him to stay.
Tensions between Liberty Corps teammates Commando X and Silver Samurai eased following a mysterious mission Liberty Corps mission to Japan beginning May 29, 1946. The two eventually became close friends.
Commando X quit the Liberty Corps on August 4, 1947, though he and Silver Samurai remained friends. He became a covert government agent fighting communism in the U.S. and around the world.
